Free Childcare Night Cancelled
As a result of the heavy snowfall and freezing rain we have had to cancel the free childcare night from 6-9p at the church tonight.
On another more positive note, we are thinking this is a great opportunity to have a "Family Night!"
Here are a couple of other ideas...
- Movie night with hot cocoa
- Bake some Christmas cookies and eat them all
- Game night (candyland is a popular game in my house)
- Bible story charades
- Nintendo Wii night (a Wii is kind of important for this one)
- Get the kids in bed early and snuggle with your spouse night (an all time favorite of mine)
Either way, have fun tonight, be careful and drive safe if you absolutely have to be on the roads tonight.

New Series Begins This Sunday!
No Perfect People Allowed
We begin a new two week series this Sunday morning at New Life Church we are calling "No Perfect People Allowed."
For too long now, far too many churches have presented themselves to our culture as the place where people go when they have it all together. The great smiles, the good clothes, the perfect hair (at least if you still have hair), the perfect job are all a bit unsettling for the person who is searching for truth and meaning in life, not to mention those who are struggling through difficult times and circumstances.
We are going to take a couple weeks and look at what it really means to be forgiven, how God's Grace is enough and how we can truly unite together to accomplish God's plan for our lives. If you're tired of "playing church", then don't miss this series!
