On July 21st, 1985, fifty-two people gathered together in a small suite in the Huntington Civic Center in Huntington, West Virginia.  The object of their gathering was to praise and worship God!  A few moments later a native West Virginian by the name of   Darrell Huffman stepped up to the podium and began to share the vision that God had given him as the founder of this work.  As Pastor Huffman shared from his heart, the words he spoke and the feelings in the hearts of those present made it evident...New Life Church was born!

The Body of New Life church  began to grow quickly as excitement filled the air, and the Holy Spirit began to move.  One suite became two in order to accommodate those in attendance.  God was, indeed, smiling on this work that He had initiated!

Three years and just over three months later, on Thursday, November 3rd, 1988, New Life Church held it's very first service in a brand new building seated on 67 acres of land.  Once again, excitement was stirred within the atmosphere as God's people began to see His promises come to pass.  The property and new building were officially dedicated to the Lord on January 8th, 1989 by Pastor Kenneth Hagin Jr.

In 2004 God spoke to Pastor Huffman to update our current facilities. Since then, a complete renovation of the church property is underway and nears completion. New Life Church has continued to grow in both attendance and discipleship. New Life Church has developed ministries for every area of spiritual growth. Our services are filled with exciting praise and intimant worship... a relevant message from the Word of God... and an awesome move of the Holy Spirit.
